Instructions
For the head, cut a 3-1/2″ wide by 2-1/2″ long strip of flesh-colored fun foam, and round the bottom corners to form the jaw. Cut notches at the top corners to form ears. Center head on one 12″ side of the green fun foam, so that the top of the head is even with the top of the green body, and glue in place. Glue the pom-pom nose and eyes onto the face. Draw mouth and cheeks with permanent marker. Glue beard trims around the face.
Cut the hat out of a 4-1/2″ x 2″ piece of black fun foam and cut shoes out of 2″ x 3″ pieces. Cut hands out of 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ pieces of flesh fun foam. Glue the hat on top of the head, so that the ears stick out. Glue hands to 6-1/2″ lengths of 1-1/2″ wide ribbon, and trim the top ends of the ribbons to form rounded shoulders. Glue feet to 11″ lengths of ribbon. Glue tops of ribbon shoulders just to the sides of the jawline, approximately 1-1/2″ from the top of the green body. Glue ribbon legs to the bottom of the body, on the back side of the foam, about 1″ apart.
Roll the sides of the body back into a cylinder and glue it closed. Decorate with a bow tie and a hatband made of narrow gold ribbon, and three but tons down the front. To hang, punch holes on the top sides of the body and tie 1 yard of narrow ribbon to each side.
